At Via Durini 11, Versace Home transformed its showroom into a modern palazzo where classical grandeur met unapologetic contemporary drama. The 2026 collection unfolded as a total lifestyle manifesto — sculptural volumes that commanded attention while remaining deeply livable. Deep emerald velvet sofas traced graceful curves reminiscent of ancient Roman arches, their generous proportions inviting one to sink in and linger. Embroidered N.12 cushions caught the shifting light like secret Medusa motifs, the intricate patterns shimmering and transforming with every angle. Low marble tables with edges softened just enough for real life sat nearby, their cool surfaces accented by delicate gold trim that reflected light like liquid sunlight. Overhead, Murano glass chandeliers dripped molten gold and crystal, casting warm, dancing patterns across every surface and turning the entire space into a living sculpture of light and shadow.
The neo-baroque spirit was everywhere — bold in scale, refined in execution. Porcelain plates and crystal glasses etched with subtle Barocco patterns waited on dining tables, ready to elevate even the simplest meal into a couture ritual. Golden Medusa gazes watched over each setting with the same iconic confidence Versace has brought to fashion for decades. This was not merely furniture; it was a complete sensory experience. Trussardi Casa 2026: The Gentle Resistance
A short distance away at Via Burlamacchi 4, Trussardi Casa presented a quieter, more introspective counterpoint. Titled The Gentle Resistance, the 2026 collection offered a conscious response to an increasingly turbulent world. Gentleness, the brand narrative explained, was no longer simply a lifestyle but a deliberate choice — a quiet yet determined form of strength.
The collection unfolded as a richly nuanced domestic landscape where bold lines met soft volumes, sculptural presence balanced visual lightness. In the living area, the Talism sectional sofa by Carlo Colombo stood as a study in balanced power: compact, almost brutalist volumes and clean dynamic lines gave it decisive architectural presence, yet the generous depth of the seat and calibrated softness of the cushions transformed rigor into pure, enveloping comfort. Nearby, the Misaky coffee tables by Studio Nove3 rose like small domestic totems — sculptural volumes of warm wood and reflective metal interrupted by a distinctive cylindrical detail.
